What's In My Bag
WHAT’S IN MY BAG
Hello loves! For today’s post I’m going to be sharing what’s in my bag. I know there are a million of these types of posts floating around on the internet, but I just got a new bag and it inspired me to get back into blogging.
The Bag: I recently purchased my Marc Jacobs Empire City Messenger Bag from Nordstrom Rack on Cyber Monday. I love the slightly bigger size than my usual crossbodies and the fact that the black will go with everything!
Overview: Here’s a general overview of the items I constantly have in my bag
Lipstick: I am a lipstick addict, I always have at least 2 in my bag. Right now I’m loving my Urban Decay Vice lipstick in the color Ravenswood. One of my best friends (s/o Layla) got it for me for my birthday 2 years ago and it’s still one of my favorite colors. I also have a mini Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in the color Pillow Talk.
Lip Balm: I always have lip balm with me year round, but it is especially important to have one this time of year when chapped lips are inevitable. I’m currently loving my SheaMoisture lip balm. It has a thick consistency, almost like Vaseline, and is infused with coconut water and shea butter.
Wallet: This is an obvious one. I always have my Vera Bradley lanyard wallet. I love that if I don’t feel like carrying a purse I can just bring this lanyard and not worry about losing it, I can wrap it around my wrist or neck.
Hand Cream: This hand cream from Bath and Body Works smells so good, like coconut and vanilla, and it keeps my hands from getting dry.
Hand Sanitizer: I love hand sanitizers that come in spray form. For some reason they feel so fancy and you avoid pouring out way too much. The French Lavender scent of this Bath and Body Works one is so good.
Scrunchie: There is always an army of lost hair ties and scrunchies hidden in the bottom of my bag. Right now I’m loving this sequin scrunchie from Scunci. It’s so festive!
Portable Charger: It’s always a good idea to keep a portable charger with you just in case. Better safe than sorry!
DayQuil: I get sick so easily and so fast! I like keeping a DayQuil in my bag just in case I feel a sniffle coming on when I’m out.
Advil: I keep a travel sized Advil in my bag at all times for headaches and cramps.
Mints: I always have mints in my bag. I love that LifeSavers are individually wrapped and I can just toss a handful in each of my different bags.
Pepper Spray: Living in New York City, I always have a mini pepper spray with me. My friend, Jennifer, always thinks this pink one is hand sanitizer. It’s a good thing she’s never tried to spray it!
Hope you all have a great Christmas and enjoy time with your family and friends!
xoxo Carli
