Back to School Must- Haves
Hello lovelies! It's that time of year again: back to school! While this can be such an exciting time of year, it can also be very overwhelming if you aren't prepared. For today's blog post, I've compiled a list of 5 of my necessities for September to get you through the school year:
1. Chambray and flannel shirts: these shirts are so versatile and can go with so many different outfits from jeans to a dress. They are especially great to throw on as you run out the door on those cool mornings in early autumn. You don't have to sacrifice style to stay warm.
2. Reusable water bottle: hydration, hydration, hydration! Maybe it's because I'm a runner, but I am constantly chugging water, especially in school. Because of the negative health and environmental effects of plastic water bottles I opt for a reusable one.
3. Comfy jeans: I am a self-proclaimed jeans addict. I'd choose jeans over leggings any day; which is why I always make sure my jeans are super comfortable! My favorites are from Hollister or Aeropostale. (Hollister is currently having a sale on jeans:))
4. Cute sneakers: the sneaker trend isn't going anywhere--and for good reason! They can be worn anywhere, from the classroom to the weekend. My personal favorites are my white Superga high tops. I wear them with everything year round.
5. Music: this isn't a physical item, but I think it's really important to have a good playlist for those morning rides to school, study sessions, or even just in between classes. My taste in music is always changing, but right now I'm listening to a lot of John Mayer, Charlie Puth, and James Taylor.
Good luck on your first day!🤗 xoxo Carli
